How do I activate 2FA in my account?
To turn on Two Factor Authentication (2FA), you need to make sure you have an active and verified phone number in your TBanque investment account. Then follow these steps:
- Go to Account Settings (On the web version of TBanque: Click ⚙️ Settings in the left-hand menu, then click on Account. On the TBanque mobile app: tap on at the top of the screen, then tap Settings ⚙️ and Account).
- Under Security, click the button to switch on Two Factor Authentication .
- Enter the SMS code we sent to your mobile phone and click ‘Apply’.
If you tick the 'remember this device' checkbox, your device will be remembered for 30 days. You will receive a new code after 30 days, or sooner if you switch your browser or device.
We recommend to keep the 2FA active at all times. Turning the 2FA off on your account decreases the protection and it is at your own risk.
