Through the Popular Investor Program, knowledgeable investors can build up their business by sharing their expertise and strategies with our social investing community. Once accepted, Popular Investors can get paid to be copied by other users, on top of P/L from their own trading.
Received an email about not meeting the requirements to become a Popular Investor?
So, you’ve decided to apply for the program and become an TBanque Popular Investor — great! In order to help you avoid the most common mistakes we see made by applicants, we’ve compiled the following list. Make sure to double-check the following items on your profile, and then reapply.
Mistake #1: Not using your full name on your profile
How to fix it: Access your privacy settings by clicking the settings button on the left-hand side of the screen. Click the privacy button, and turn on the full name setting.
Mistake #2: Upload a profile picture
How to fix it: Under settings, click your username, then the camera icon next to your username. Upload a profile picture with a clear image of your face.
Mistake #3: Insufficient information in your bio
How to fix it: Click your username in the top left corner. On the right side, below your username and risk score, there is a field to “edit your bio.” Your bio should contain a minimum of 150 characters about who you are, your investing and academic credentials, and a description of your investment strategy.
Once you’ve double checked that these requirements are completed, please reapply.
